This is a blog based on the previous post (situation in which I wrote the poem). If you haven't seen it then click here.
PART- I
An 18 year old girl named Sonakshi living in an indian society decided to do a part time job during her vacation. So she got into a real estate office with the help of an online job provider agent named Jay.
Jay, a 24 years old human, used to work in the same floor of the same commercial building where Sonakshi was placed. Everytime Jay used to constantly look at Sonakshi whenever got a chance. She was unaware!
Later he confessed his feelings to her. To which she denied every second time when the topic came up between them. So one day, he told her,"Lets go in the office, we'll get privacy". She being stunned did not undertand how to react to it. She later expressed all of her anger to him on a text message and forgot the incident. Next day, Sonakshi decides to quit the job to focus on her studies. Jay started calling and messaging her, way more than needed to which she replied by telling him the reason behind quitting the job and warning him to not try to contact again.
He still continued...
She did not know what to do next and hence informed about the situation to her group of best friends. They were there for her in a minute. She felt safe, secured, proud, blessed and overwhelming. They scolded her for being good to that creepy guy and taught her a lesson but, also protected her from every negativity when she needed it the most.
But Jay started being too abusive to Sonakshi and her friends. And they decided to file an FIR. In a hurry, everybody visited police station.
But there was one more obstacle which Sonakshi had to cross. The most difficult part of the incident! Any guesses? [ (Hint: She is a girl, living in an Indian Society, facing this incident). Did not find an answer?]
Okay, the difficult stage was her FAMILY. She was standing at the gate of the police station with her friends. But, there was a need for a presence of Sonakshi's parents at the police station.
She was not close to any members of her family. Not mom, not dad, not sister and not brother. She knew that if her family gets to know about this situation, even when its not her fault, she will have to face all the consequences and will be implied to certain restriction, just because she was a girl.
She cried and cried and cried....Didn't know how to do it but had to do it. Sonakshi, a not so mature girl, in a teary eyes, looking at her phone again and again. She knew that if her brother would have been in her place then he wouldn't have had to stress so much for just asking the family to be at the police station.
Her hands were shivering, eyes turned red, got friends by her side but still felt alone. She regretted being a girl for the first time in her life......
But then she decides to....
There's more to this story, it will be completed in the next part, next post.
